Micro
• On a Micro-scale, grease acts more like an adhesive than a lubricant.
The lack of sticky grease required makes scrollers ideal for micro-mechanics.
See Also: Conditions ....
1.If you want it to be self-supporting .... 2 bands per outer roller.
2.If you attach 2 shafts [in and out] to other equipment .... one band per outer roller.
3.If you use a rigid outer sleeve .... one band per outer roller plus outer-bands.
4.If you use a flexible outer sleeve ... 2 bands per outer roller.
NOTE: if you use more than 5 rollers,
the inner-roller must be larger than the outer-rollers.
Macro
• Large surfaces are difficult to grease,
making lube-free scrollers well suited for large scale construction.
• Roller sizes and numbers can vary between devices or within a single device.
