•  This was our first release.

    When I first released this Project  I was just a small Design Studio.

    I didn't even have a computer yet.

    This was 1996.

•  When the first Business Week article was written,

    my phone rang non-stop for weeks. 

    The faxes stacked up hundreds deep. 

    Every call was for a different application.

    Everyone was expecting me to develop a product for them.

•  After 2 weeks, I started keeping a list of the companies that called.

    I told them all of our situation and told them that I would be calling them

    back when I was in proper condition to deal with it.

    I never did call any of them back .... the list was just too long.

•  I could afford to responded to very few calls,

    but it was clear I was in way over my head. 

    My only solution was to cut off the phone

    and concentrate on becoming an entity capable of handling such releases.
